ABOUT ME
Hi, hello!
I’m Tara. I’ve owned and been around all kinds of dogs all my life and they’ve always been a very vital part of my life. As a little kid I always knew that I wanted to work with dogs. They’re the absolute best and deserve to live their best life just like any human. Our dogs depend so much on us, it’s our job to understand, guide and teach them.
My Boston Terrier, Duncan is the one who gave me the push I needed to start my career. When I got him at 6.5 weeks old I knew we were going to be best friends and I wanted to understand everything that I could about him and other dogs. In 2020 we foster failed his chihuahua/papillon mix sister, Moira who loves him unconditionally and then in 2022 we foster failed a special needs Dachshund, Phoebe. It’s a full house but I honestly wouldn’t want it any other way.
I’m a certified professional dog trainer and have been working with dogs professionally for over a decade. My experience includes volunteering with rescue organizations, dog walking, dog sitting, vet clinics, dog daycare and boarding facilities. I graduated from Catch Canine Dog Training Academy (CCDT) and am currently continuing my education to learn and understand as much as I can about their behaviors.
I’ve handled and worked with dogs of all sizes, ages, breeds, temperaments, health issues and different disabilities(deaf, blind, etc).
